Beccause. You need to activate them to play online. This time around you can't even play offline single player without the cold. Making it so you will have to fork out 60 bucks. and if a game came out a few months ago you cant play it unless you pay the new price for it.

I still seriously doubt the whole 'active connection' thing. This may be hard for some people to get their heads around, but not everybody has an internet connection. Enforcing the necessity for one wouldn't make those people sign up for interwebz, it would just make them not buy the new Xbox in the first place.

As for the 'no used games' thing, sadly that part probably will prove to be true for the upcoming generation of consoles. $$$$$$$$

they're essentially turning it into a monopoly, I should say again in the case with Microsoft. I can only buy games from Xbox now.

People still complained about the codes to play MP. But this new thing is locking out the entire GAME itself. Not everyone can afford high speed internet or even have good connection for it.Some people still run dialup
