Re: Get ready for the PS4 - February 20
The things I've heard about PS4 might dissuade folks from buying it, they are saying no backwards compatibility at all and that the game system basically registers your game to be your account/profile and that you will not be able to buy used games and play them on your PS4... That's a crock for both used game businesses and bargain shoppers that want to wait till used copies come in to save some money... If what I've heard is true, then Microsoft can really kill sony by jumping all over this and advertising that they DO support used game businesses and shoppers and their system WILL allow gamers to play any game they purchase whether brand new or used.

Re: Get ready for the PS4 - February 20
PS3 was such a joke of a console when it first came out, and in some respects, mainly online, still is a joke. Its hard for me or my partner to get excited about a PS4 announcement right now. We were talking about it last night. $500 or less, no major overhaul to the controller, and some known launch day games, we may buy it. Anything over $500 and we`re going to wait a year or so and pick it up when its eventually bundled with games.

Funny thing is Sony never once talking about Orbis as PlayStation 4, If look at all the reports from Sony is "Orbis" not "Playstation4"..
Is "Orbis" Sony kinect or the next Console we going to see on 2/20

It looks like all roads are leading to a PS4 announcement. I doubt it will be economically affordable by the general public so I hope Sony have a sensible plan with their marketing.

A good plan would be to sell it at an affordable price and recoup the money through an online subscription, much like XBL.

Re: Get ready for the PS4 - February 20
Never bought any console at launch and probably never will, but I'm intrigued by the specs for the PS4 as it'll serve as a good indicator at what to expect in the XBOX 720. I've been leaning more in that direction anyways if I do end up buying a new gaming console.
