Yeah it looks like a great game. If I get a 3DS, and I might in March, then it's easily a 2nd purchase along with Castlevania. Maybe Mario too. Not sure what else is out for the system that I really want.

Never played a Fire Emblem game before?
Play: 
It has a good tutorial for those new to the series and is cheap these days, whether purchased or emulated. It'll be a good judge to see if you want Awakening. |

Retail shipments got delayed, went to Best Buy and they said they weren't getting it until Wednesday, and Gamestop Friday. So I'm dling it off the e-shop atm, pumped

Finished the DLC chapter, MARTH . Also see you could recruit Lyn, but I don't have enough gold atm. Really enjoying this game, only lost one unit so far (Miriel)

Normal was too easy by chapter 7, so I started a new playthrough on hard and I'm up to chapter 11. Lost about 4 units (1 I cared about) and that's it, really having fun. Used Master Seals on Chrom & the MU and they're the best pair in the game. Just tear up everything. Marth/Lon'qu are great too
