Dark sci fi games.
Looking for recommendations on a great sci fi game, the darker the better. Doesn't have to be FPS, could be anything from 3rd person action adventure to RTS.
Here's a few I have played, and gives a good idea of what i'm talking about.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Syndicate
Prey
Blade Runner
Hard Reset
I only have PC and PS3, so any game on other platforms wouldn't help, but maybe we can get a discussion going with fans of this sub genre.
Would appreciate the feedback a lot.

Re: Dark sci fi games.
Own the Mass Effect trilogy, and the games are awesome. Not sure if i'd call it a dark sci fi though, it has elements of that, but i'm thinking more along the lines of a gritty dystopian world. Closer in atmosphere to Dead Space than Mass Effect, without it being full blown horror.

Re: Dark sci fi games.
Portal 2 is kinda sci-fi and the humor in it is pretty dark.

Re: Dark sci fi games.
No joke, Portal 2 has been game of the decade for me so far.
I guess you have a point too regarding Stephen Merchant's humor. The game always reminded me of the movie 'Cube' for some reason and that's certainly a dark sci fi movie.

Re: Dark sci fi games.
Never heard of 'Singularity' and 'I have No Mouth And I Must Scream'. Good call on the Quake games, brings back memories. (dat Trent Reznor collab!)
Some other good cyberpunk-like gems that deserve mention
Snatcher
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy
Shadowrun
I'd even throw in the original Bioshock, it's steampunk, but has a very dark atmosphere.
