You can still get fifa 13 for the PS2 even though the PS3 has been out for years.

And I mean the console doesn't really stand on it's own much. It has been out for less than 2 months and so far all it has to offer in the way of good games seems to be ZombiU (which I'll admit does look pretty sweet).

I don't want to be paying £250 for a console + £100 for the only 3 games I'd be interested in.

Fifa 13 is a brand game that's released on every system. EVERY system. These are different. It'd be the equivalent of Uncharted being released on the PS2.

Also.. I'm still failing to get your point. Do you want Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft to stop releasing new consoles because you don't want to buy a new one?

Think Curry doesn't want to buy a console that only has 1 game that he's interested in at the moment. Same with me really, I'm interested in the console but at this point there's no real reason to slap down £250+ on a console I'll just be buying one game for.

But in the future with all these games that have been announced coming out it'll definitely be something I'll want to purchase.

I'm not really wanting them to do anything, I'm mostly having a moan. I would just like if they would release for both consoles like they did with Twilight Princess.

Same thing happened when they released Ocarina 3D on the 3DS, didn't want to buy the console just for 1 game, ended up playing it on a friends.

This is what kills me about this statement. Nintendo always gets called out for "Whoring out" franchises, but we'll look at Microsoft and Sony and arguably their top franchises. Halo and Uncharted

Since Xbox We've had
Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Halo ODST
Halo: Combat Evolved HD Remake
Halo Reach
Halo 4

Call of Duty has had 7 or 8 games, Halo is right on par with COD at this point.

For Sony, since PS3 in 2006, we've had
Uncharted Drakes Fortune
Uncharted 2
Uncharted 3
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Uncharted Fortune Hunter

And that's not even counting their multipack release of both Uncharted 1 &2 togther.

My point... All three gaming companies do it.
