It's most likely going to be a direct sequel since the trailer shows Shulk at the end and it looks 99.99% just like XC except prettier.

Same games as wii, gamecube and n64..They need some new ips. I just cant get excited for wii u and i still have no idea what the big screen controller is for. Looks like an annoyance imo having to check that screen while shit goes on the tv.

You don't have to use it, just like you didn't need to use the Wiimote controller for most games.

God...Nintendo definitely has been having a boner for Wind Waker recently. I doubt I will buy the HD version but we'll see how it looks and if any additions are made. I'm very excited for Zelda HD. However this news still isn't enough to make me want a Wii U yet. I think I will be buying it when the Zelda game comes out....but reluctantly as I'm not a fan of paying $300 for a system when I only am interested in 1 game.
