Well those games were rated 18 and he was 15 so there was probably a lot of bad parenting going on here. Plus if he played the last GTA that would mean he was 11 while playing 18 rated games. It's not the video games industry's fault.

Video games don't kill people. People kill people.

True. But that would mean parents would have to take responsibility and damn if that is ever going to happen.

Agreed. It's amazing the amount of times parents just buy games for their kids without actually checking out what content the games have. Then moan that it's violent, disgusting, vile etc.. Plus it could also be associated with mental illness that might not have been diagnosed.

But like I keep saying, I've been playing violent games for years and not once have I ever had the desire to replicate what I have seen/played in them. Same with movies, books, music etc.. People always look for the easiest things to blame their problems on.

"The father, a reformed gang member who used to run a halfway house for ex-cons on his property, had taught his son how to shoot, police said."

It must be the bad influence of video games...

Violet video games didn't make him a psycho.

He liked violent video games because he was already a psycho.

(not saying you have to a psycho to enjoy violent games, I enjoy a few myself)

People are always looking for scapegoats but the video game excuse is beyond lame at this point.

I don't know about that. I went outside and saw a little kid in overalls jumping on mushrooms.

Do you think if he said that he loved pizza, they'd ban pizza?

Millions of people play Black Ops 2. So of course, the few crazy enough people to kill others also play Black Ops 2

People are stupid.
