Seriously... it's up there for sure. The game play, graphics, pacing, fun, etc, is top notch. It obviously must have took a lot of effort to make this game, since the quality is so outstanding. The Merchant is a great character.

It really is amazing.

It's in my top 3 best Resi games. It's just a shame that Capcom tried to recreate it's magic with the fifth entry and pretty much just did a copy and paste job. With shit Co-Op and cover mechanics. The franchise hasn't been the same since...

Resident Evil is one of my favourite game series of all time, and RE 4 is my favourite of the series, been a big fan since the original came out, so only makes sense that this would be one of my favourites.

The horror and action elements were blended perfectly. something the subsequent RE games failed to emulate.
