I really liked Rotom so far (elec/ghost). he's fast and pretty decent on all fronts. Plus, I can change him to a different type if I really want to.

Sigilyph is a machine.. Defensive with Cosmic Power & Roost and it is almost Indestructible!

Fan Rotom sucks, the rest are awesome! Fan Rotom is a Flying Type with Levitate and its Special Form change move is Air Slash.. Overheat. Hydro Pump. Blizzard. Leaf Storm. Air Slash...

Roserade is just so damn awesome.

I only caught sigilyph because it looked funny. and I only caught budew (roserade's baby form) because I was playing platinum.

Go back to the Dimension World and get the Griesious Orb. Turns it into its defensive form which is at worst the third best Defensive Pokemon in the entire game. (Lugia, Eviolite Chansey and Giratina are top 3.)

I think I remember my Sigilyph's moveset being Psychic, Air Slash, Roost and Calm Mind. Worked wonders. Increase your Special Attack and Special Defense with Calm Mind, Roost up, and sweep with two powerful STAB moves. Good times.

Sigilyph has so many move-sets is insane.. Defensive abusing Cosmic Power and Magic Guard, Attacking with Calm Mind and Psychic, Thunder Wave / Will-o-Wisp, Self Sacrifice with Healing Wish / Memento or Dual Screening with Light Screen & Reflect. Like most Psychic types, it's one of the most all round awesome Pokemon in the game.

I was wondering what that orb was for...

I'm in the distortion world now; coolest place ever in a pokemon game! I'm at girtina and it's taking a bit. I'll get him eventually. My bronzong is awesome and knows hypnosis. Still, 1 HP and asleep and it's taking forever.

I really want them to throw something into the game to make catching legendaries easier. The only thing I can think of as an example would be from Ocarina of Time (zelda for 64) when you went to get the bigarron sword. You had to do all this shit, spend days going back and forth in order to get it. It was a pain in the ass, but in the end it was worth it; it was optional. Something like battling a whole shit load of people gets you an item that helps catching a certain legendary easier or something. Make it a bitch to get, but optional.

I just liked having Team Rocket in the game despite how much better they were in Gen 1. Things like having them in Gen 2 made the Gen 2 games real sequals to the Gen 1 games. I liked the continue story, and in their remakes I like how you find out that Giovanni was the father of your rival Silver.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed seeing Team Rocket again too, but honestly they weren't even a shell of what they used to be. It was as if WWE's current Creative Team wrote the Rocket Storyline in Gen 2. Just wasn't as great as it could have been.

Mew, Shaymin, Celebi and Manaphy are in the same group here.. All have Base 100 Stats which makes them powerful in UU, Above the norm in OU and too weak in Uber. They only differences are the abilities/movesets in the end.. (Hydration Calm Mind Manaphy and Drizzle Politoed are the most OP Combo that has ever existed..)

Shaymin got screwed due to having to rely on Choice Scarf/Specs due to a bad moveset.

Mew is the Jack of all trades but Master of Jack Shit. Great moves but it doesn't have the Bulk or Attack to back them up without tons of setting up. Hence why it's a staple in Baton Passing Teams.

Manaphy is literally the demi-god of Rain.. (Kyogre being god of the Sea, Earth and 'fucking yo shit up'). Tail Glow increasing Sp. Att 3 Stages straight away, Rest not keeping Manaphy asleep and Surf/Ice Beam/HP Grass/HP Electric just fucking people up after a single Tail Glow.

Celebi is just a fucking nightmare unless you have Scizor.. Even then, they all carry Hidden Power Fire.. Recover, Calm Mind, Psychic and HP Fire.. Or - Heal Bell, Recover, HP Fire and Psychic or Earth Power (For Heatran)

2 of those have bounced between UU/BL/OU (Mew/Shaymin), Celebi has been OU almost constantly and Manaphy has to be Uber due to the huge amount of Rain Teams in OU.

If I am correct, I believe Paralysis makes catching easier than Sleep does. Giratini shouldn't really be giving you to much problems with catching anyways.. (At least I don't remember it being too difficult to capture.)

I've only tried twice then, second time I accidentally killed it. and you are wrong, sleep increases catch rate more; which is why rotom causes paralysis when attacked is a bitch.

trying to save the master balls for something, not sure yet. I got 3 in silver, 1 in my platinum.

Correct you are.. I muddled up Freezing & Paralysis.

Cresselia, Mespirit, Articuno, Moltres & Zapdos. All roaming Pokemon that you can waste them Master Balls on. Also, try using Dusk Balls! They have a higher Capture rate than Ultra Balls in caves and at Night-Time.

dusk balls hell yeah! you have to make them in silver. not in platinum. I walked into the pokemart and screamed "GIVE ME ALL YOUR DUSK BALLS!" I got 99 Dusk balls but Girtina ain't in one!
