Dragonite kills everything. That's why the 2nd elite 4 guy uses 3 of them on his team. but jigglypuff would put that bitch to sleep and double slap it or hours

While not exclusive trainer, I tend to be an Eevee evolution trainer, particularly Leafeon. A physical-based Leafeon with Grass Whistle, Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, and Aerial Ace can pull some nasty damage.

I used to be a solid Umbreon trainer, but unfortunately Umbreons never seemed to get solid upgrades in the move department when new games were released, (oddly enough, Espeon did fare better, though not by much)

And I swear... If there isn't a new Eevee evolution in the next Pokemon game... I'll... Well... It probably wouldn't matter, I don't have a 3DS, and can't afford to get one...

Honestly, if Umbreon got more in the Damaging moves department, I could see it becoming one of the best Defensive Pokemon in the entire game! It can Poison, Confuse, Heal Itself, Protect and takes hits like a champ. Even with average Attacking stats, I could see it outlasting the likes of Gyarados and Salamence in the hands of a decent player.

There's too much weather in standard battling for moonlight to be a reliable healing move. Umbreon could be ohko'd by a good few things too: Heracross, Hitmonlee etc.

Heracross can kill with Choice Band, without it has around about an 80% chance of getting the KO.

Hitmontop can't KO Umbreon even with the Choice Band. Umbreon doesn't kill either with Psychic. Even with Choice Specs.

Heracross usually uses Scarf & Hitmontop normally goes Bulky, so only Heracross will cause issues. And on that note, who on earth keeps an Umbreon in against either of these two. I would have it paired with a Gyarados/Dragonite/Latias and got the free Dragon Dance off and stated to destroy.

(Umbreon also has Rest, which could be paired with an Aromatherapy Blissey/Celebi.)

i seriously once thought Tropius was the third stage for Shroomish

if they decide to remake Crystal it should maybe be called(in gimmick with Soul and Heart) Mind Crystal or Body Crystal or something along those lines

They don't remake the 3rd version of the games.

Fire Red / Leaf Green - No remake for Yellow. (Gen 1)
Heart Gold / Soul Silver - Looking like no remake for Crystal. (Gen 2)
/ - Doubt that there is going to be one for Emerald. (Gen 3)

I've only used Umbreon as a defensive Pokemon once, and honestly did not care for it. I tend to use them more as accuracy breakers than anything else. If I know my opponent is going to try and snake their way out of getting hit with something like sand attack or minimalize, I'll use Umbreon with Faint Attack to carve out their HP, and maybe get a lucky toxic in. Depending on the Pokemon, it can be a long and annoying battle, and a Leafeon with Aerial Ace could work better, but with its defense (and added speed) it's gotten me out of a few nasty situations.

Not a good strategy, I know, but it works for me,
