What starter is everyone getting on X/Y (If you are getting the game)

I'll wait with the decision until I see their evolutions. I remeber when B/W was coming out, and once I saw Oshawott I almost puked, but i chosen him, since he evolves into this awesome guy:

water/fighting or grass/dark. I don't care for psychic at all, so that would rule out the fire one; plus vulpix 2.0 looks dumb.

I'm pending a decision considering the evolution is the most important part to me but it looks like Fennekin. I'm expecting a Ninetails type for the final evolution.

You mean on my very first try? Probably not. Don't think I can remember my very first file as I've had countless files on Crystal since. But on my last few files I've defeated him in one try, I've beaten him with Pokemon in their 50's before in one try. The gen 2 games will always be my favorite. gen 1 and gen 3 were good, haven't played nearly enough of gen 4 to really judge that gen (I literally played 5 minutes of a Pokemon Platinum file before my DS died on me ) but I've seen lots of gameplay from those games from people on YouTube, and I like the look of Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Didn't really care for gen 5 and I only like a handful of Pokemon from that gen. Most Pokemon I've had was 238 on my Pokemon Crystal file, soo close to completing my Pokedex, but then I restarted my file.

Yep. I couldn't believe it either after hearing all the lore about what a challenge he's supposed to be too. Felt like the biggest BOSS in my neighborhood & at school when I was the guy who trumped Ash.

I've only did a handful on anything past Gen 3. My interest began to fade outside of scoping out some "cool" looking Pokemon from Gen 4 - onwards. I'm good with 3 games though. Constant playability for me and I'm still trying to complete my pokedex on Gen 2 & Gen 3. Finish Gen 1 and it still is pretty

Leaning towards the Grass one, Chespin. It looks like it could be interesting. Either that or Fennekin. I hope they add some type variation with the starters and their evolutions that isn't Fire/Fighting.

they should really have an item that awards you money on fighting wild pokemon. that'd be so nice.

They have a move for that. Shame only a few Pokemon can ever learn it.

does fainting (whiting out) do anything to your pokemon? I hear it makes them like you less (doesn't matter since they're all at their final evolution already) and you lose some money. IS that it? I'm just running through the Elite 4 to get money and XP.

Mandibuzz is pretty sweet. Didn't even know it appeared at Lv 25 on Route 11 so that was a surprise. I was pissed to find out it would have been a Braviary if I was playing White 2. Especially considering I got both games.
