Definitely agree. The legendaries were already good. It didn't feel like an accomplishment to have them in your team. Much more satisfying to have a pokemon that you fully brought up yourself.

The most I've ever leveled a Pokemon was a Lv 95 Dragonite that I trained from a Lv 12 Dratini from the Safari Zone. I was much more proud of that then catching a Zapdos or Mew Two.

Hence why I made it a goal to keep my Infernape (aka Calie) with me ever since diamond. She went with me through all games...and when she was too strong to use when I started a game...can you say kids and grand kids I always felt boss knowing I pwned people with an Infernape lineage.

Yeah I wish Chandelure got Leviate, I mean it levitates so it should have that ability.

Chandelure's dreamworld ability Shadow Tag is pretty damn sweet.

I just liked Chandelure from the moment I saw it, great design, unique typing, and holy shit at that 145 base special attack!

Agreed. Most I've leveled a Pokemon to was in the 80's on Crystal, had 6 Pokemon in the 80's, then I stopped playing for a while and eventually started a new file on that game. I've had countless Pokemon files over the years, but I've never raised a Pokemon to level 100, one day it will happen.

You should try BW2 if you haven't, after finally beating the Trainer Challenge, my entire team was 90+, and that was just from beating every trainer on each floor once.

I've also never used a rare candy on a pokemon that I knew would be in my final Elite Four team. Just a standard that I had for some reason even as a kid lol.

Never use Rare Candies either. I played Pokemon White on Rom, researched the Pokemon exclusives on each game prior and decided on playing White. I thought the White Forest was a better exclusive too, but I gave up on the game after I beat the Elite Four so I never made it to the White Forest
