View Poll Results: Most anticipated games?

With the next gen consoles due out this coming year, it looks like 2013 will be our last year with the current generation, and it looks like the 360 and PS3 will go out with a bang. There is a ton of good games on the horizon, many of which I consider a day 1 purchase. Looking at various lists, I see no less than 8 or 9 games that I will get day 1, and most of those are released in the fist half of the year.

So, from the list of what I feel are high profile and will be quality titles below, which three or four games are you currently most excited for?

Army of Two: Devil's Cartel
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Metal Gear: Rising
Destiny (new Bungie game)
Watch Dogs (if it comes out)
The Last Guardian (pretend it's gonna come out!)
Dark Souls II (I think it will honestly)

I guess I don't follow up as well as I used too because much like 2012 their is only a handful of stuff i'm feeling excited for but i'll probably get more interested when it closer to release for certain games.

At the start of this year I was pretty much only hyped with the releases of Mass Effect 3 (and i'm the only one it seems doesn't endlessly bitch about it, I loved it), Borderlands 2 and the Witcher 2 port, which I still need to beat.

This upcoming years right now its pretty much just Bioshock Infinite, GTA V and maybe Army of Two depending on whether or not I like the first AoT which I got for X Mas from a friend, yet to play it. Oh and Splinter Cell. Loves me some Sam Fisher.

The newest Army of Two looks to improve on a lot of things. I thought the first one was ok, but I am optimistic that the 2nd one will be much improved. I am actually excited for it.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't know of a ton of PC exclusives due in 2012.

Yeah I was in a Gamestop thursday and was watching a video for Ao2: Cartel. Looks like mindless carnage and given my current mindframe looks like something i'd enjoy.

Cant fucking wait, throw the sequel to Dead Island and finally (please god FFS) - Alien: Colonial Marines, good times ahead,

I really hope we get an announcment on a new Fallout too...

I considered Aliens: Colonial Marines, but the track record on Alien/Predator games has been very spotty.

I think I'm most excited for Rainbow Six: Patriots. That opening (fake) trailer looked promising for what could be a truly twisted and gut wrenching story. Modern Warfare had that mall shooting scene, but it was hollow. They didn't personalize it very much. Perhaps Rainbow Six will do that.

McQueen - maybe we can try Army of Two co-op if we both get it, and if you like that one you got for Christmas. The Gameinformer preview on it sold me enough to keep it on my radar.
