Legit masterpiece. I've wasted more hours than I can count exploring this motherfucker in, out, forwards, backwards, left, right and everything in between.
I'd put Mass Effect 1 over Mass Effect 2, with it probably being my third favorite game of all time. ME2 would make the top ten, though.
Had the original PS2 version that I played for many years, then a few years later I got an Xbox 360 and bought the game again for that. Still play it on the 360. You know a game means a lot to you when you buy it twice, lol.
I had it on PC first but then a few years ago, I found it at a cheap price for PS2 and bought it. Haven't played the PC version since then. And must have completed the story at least 25 times in the past 6 years. Every time I have no school the next day, I spend the late nights usually redoing the storyline. Just such a fun ride through the state. Hope GTA V has the same awesome west coast atmosphere.

Never played it on PC but I've seen a lot of PC gameplay via YouTube from GTA channels. PC has the biggest community for the game and it's no wonder with the mods and stuff you can do on PC. I love getting 100% completion every time I play the game, there's just so much stuff required to get that rating and it feels really rewarding when you complete everything there is to do in the game. GTA V should considering that it's set in San Andreas, and the screenshots I've seen already look amazing. Can't wait for the game.
Btw I just recently stumbled upon this:
Appears to be a GTA 4 mod for San Andreas with much improved graphics on everything from the environment, to the people, vehicles, weapons etc, looks awesome.
Yeah, not sure I can pick just 1, because it can change over time based on multiple factors. I was going to say Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but one other game ahead of it was this one:
Best Final Fantasy cast ever, best game ever for me. Zelda Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past are top 5 easily, but are a tough call which one I liked more, so instead of deciding which Zelda to pick, I just said screw it and picked FFIX. I certainly have (like others here) Fallout 3 and Red Dead Redemption in my top 10, so those are great choices.
I don't have a particular list or a 1 favorite but I have to give a huge shout out for Gears of War 1. That game consumed my time during the end of highschool until Gears 2 came out. Its pretty much all I played about 5-6 hours each night every night.

I know a lot of fans absolutely adore 1, I don't. It's my least favourite of the 3 (even with the giant cock up that was the ME 3 ending). Largely because of the Mako being just THE worlds biggest pain in the ass, I can't stand driving and shooting out of that thing, absolute fuckery, along with the fact that it simply looks and feels the most dated and I felt the story got better at 2. That's just me.
I'm not gonna pretend that it's not an awesome game, it rules, just like they all do. Hell, 1 is the game that made URDNOT WREX my favourite character in the series, but I'd take the other 2 any day of the week, especially 2. You wouldn't BELIEVE how hooked I got on 2 when it came out, and how long I stayed absolutely addicted even months after the fact and going into the previous year. It had to be seen to be believed. Usually I just play a game once or twice and then largely forget about it, unless it's a wrestling game or something else with replay value, pick it up every now and then and have a go, but not this. I was like a baby begging for breast milk.
