It's a point and click adventure game, to a degree though. There's really not a whole lot of gameplay. You just do simple tasks when you have to. Like trying to open an elevator, you have to find something to do that. Or trying to find a way to move zombies out of the way. All very simple stuff and easy to do.
But the main draw of the series are the characters and how you can have an effect on them, and the story. There are a lot of choices and decisions that you have to make that could effect anybody.
