Guys, I'm doing this about a week earlier than last year. I don't have the benefit of being as objective as possible by seeing what everyone else is nominating, so forgive me if I fucked something up. I am willing to make any changes to categories if enough people voice their concerns. So let me know by December 17, Monday, if there are any suggestions. The character categories are my main concerns, but I'm pretty confident on some of them (Vaas, Jack, Clementine, Lee, Haytham, Menendez).

So I hope you guys have fun with this!

Also, if you have a hard time doing the Platform/GOTY part, I can throw up a pool of choices to think about under each category.

I hope people aren't afraid to suggest downloadable games in their top 5 GOTY list. I certainly listed a couple that, despite being brief, were excellent and got my nod, despite their sub 10 hours completion time.

Only category I had a tough time deciding was Best character overall. Two characters on that list were great for entirely different reasons.

Also, please feel to discuss this stuff in here! Talk about the games! Just don't list off all your votes. I remember the shock from Pyro last year when Skyrim won. He was so sure it would, but held out hope that we all had better taste. Nope. We pretty much shoved our e-dicks in his mouth with that GOTY.

Edit: I just realized I put TWD for both Best Adapted and Best Original IP. Since it never has had a game before, does it qualify for Best Original IP in terms of a video game franchise?

I submitted mine. If I were to make a suggestion, I would move Need For Speed, Forza, and F1 to a new racing category with Sonic All Stars Racing Trasformed and add Madden 13, WWE 13, and UFC 3 to the sports categories.

There are a lot of categories, if you don't want to vote for everything then I don't think you should donkey vote and just pick one at random, leave it out if you don't know/don't care.
