Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.

Yeah, it's much better than the sequel. Far less irritations in this than the second game; No respawning enemies, cars actually feel different, people die when you shoot them in the head, etc..

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.

I can think of 100 reasons it's better than #2:

1.) Guns don't jam.
2.) Guns don't jam.
3.) Guns don't jam.
4.) Guns don't jam.
5.) Guns don't jam.
6.) ...

God, this game is great, I got it 2 days ago. Lived up to my expectations. And I agree with the posters above, panthers are some hard cunts, but it's pretty cool since it's more realistic.

It's not just molotovs. Any sort of fire will do it. Even the repair tool torch thing will do it if you hold it on the grass long enough.

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.

It's the same with all Far Cry games. The slightest bit of fire and you've pretty much decimated that entire area. Also funny when guards go and inspect the area, then get caught up in it and die. Idiots.

Yes. The third isn't connected to either the first or the second game.

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.

I just got the flamethrower but am afraid of lighting EVERYTHING on fire with a single trigger squeeze. I didn't realize the more camps (forts) you take over (liberate) the more weapons become free.

the structure of this game is identical to Assassins' creed 3 (same company go figure) but done much better. I only need to get the revolver and I got em all (so far...).

The emergence of the heavy guards are starting to piss me off. Half the time I'll shoot a cage in a camp just to have the guards alerted to the caged animal attacking me instead.
