Once I finish up all the story missions and outposts, I'll probably get the DLC. A few new missions, new animals to kill and a new gun or two I believe. Should keep me interested for a little while longer. Will be the only game I'll have bought DLC for outside of WWE 12 and 13.
Just completed my first Outpost. Would have done it all stealthly but a dog caught me. Im already enjoying this game more than Far Cry 2. The combat seems better which helps alot. crafting seems really cool, like it actually gives you a reason to hunt. For example now I need to find a goat to kill so I can have another weapon besides this pistol.
Yeah the hunting really adds to the game and makes all the animals there seem worth something rather than them just being there for the sake of wildlife being there. Thought once you upgrade a couple of things to the max then it's all useless. Same for plants. I had like 20 spots taken up in my backback with plants that I just never used. Once you fully upgrade your healing ability you don't need syringes. Never used the hunter ones or anything either, only one I did use was the fire resilient one for the flamethrower mission that you'll get to later on.
I just actually used a Hunter Syringe and I felt like the Predator. I ran into Komodo Dragons and wow they took me by surprise. I killed one then wondered where the other one was and next thing I know it underneath me grabbing onto my leg lol.
What I didnt like about Far Cry 2 was that enemies seemed to just pop out of nowhere. I clear a spot and a mission later its packed again like nothing happened. Hoping taking out outposts helps in this game.
Yeah I picked it up for my 360. Theres no Boars icon on that map well atleast now atm. the first mission was to kill 2 Boars which was around the Komodo Dragon icon but now theres none around there. I run out of ammo way to fast.
just killed a Tiger. Feels like RDR all over again dealing with Cougars and other animals.
