It also help if you get the perk that allows you to get double what you skin, or pick. So if you need to get 2 lions skins you'll be able to just skin one of them without going for another.
As for Dingos. They were sometimes a pain to find. I knew exactly which part they were located in, but every time I went there I would be wondering round for about 5-10 minutes without finding any. Then all of a sudden I would hear them, go towards the noise, and find a pack of about 4/5 of them.
Just casually scouting the logging yard when NEKMINUT, there's a Tiger at the top off to my left. Luckily I saw it while it was stretched out having a nap. After hearing how tough they are to kill, threw a grenade at it, landed right on it, and before it got up to attack me, BOOM.
Killed a few now, they're a little over powered, needing 7 M700 sniper shots and an arrow before it went down. Also ran into a Black Bear in a cave, threw down C4 and when it got close, BOOM again.
Still haven't braved a fight with a shark yet tho. And haven't found any Leopards or Mountain Lions.
I'm not very far in the story yet and haven't explored too much yet either. When I travel back home tomorrow, I'm hoping to get a bit more of the story mode played. Meant to be studying as I've done nothing over the Christmas break but, fuck it.

yeah the Grenade Launcher is next on list of things to acquire. Got alot of skill points stored to use when better perks become unlocked, which I hope is soon, it keeps telling me to complete more missions, I'm up to meeting Citra and have done a few hunting and bounty missions too, but they still haven't unlocked yet
Still haven't found any dingos, leopards or mountain lions. I already have the hunting challenges for the Gold Tiger and the Black Panther but no way am I attempting that yet when you have to kill them with a bow.
Well, the "final" boss, Hoyt, was stupid because it's just some weird cut scene. Also, if you have any invincibility syringes, they're removed from your inventory once you start the final mission. The chopper part, escaping with your brother, was absolutely the best rail shooting scene in any video game ever! "Flight of The Valkyries" blaring sealed the deal. I loved it.
I chose to kill my friends and stay with Citra. Anyways, you end up fucking her (literally) right after you go on a crazy trip. But then she pulls a praying mantis and kills you (so hopefully Jason wasn't shooting blanks or she'll feel stupid) and you die. Then You wake up on the island, perfectly fine and keep exploring. alright I guess, I hope the other ending is better.
I'm sad now, I'm all done. I still love exploring and looking for everything though, so I'll keep doing that. I'm trying co-op next. GOAT's theme song is in the GOAT game.
don't buy weapons, you unlock them by getting radio towers. also, the rampage missions (the red stars), after 6 of them you can buy the signature LMG. It's fucking sweet!
I finished it yesteray. I probably liked it less than you'd guess from the number of hours I sunk into it, but then what choice did I have with all the stop-annoying-me-now upgrades hidden behind meaningless bloat. I basically thought it had incredibly great shooting and movement, and it's beautiful in an oversaturated, Just-Cause-2-as-FPS way. Everything else about it is a massive step down from Far Cry 2 (bar the respawn mechanics, which they swung back too far in the other direction). Messy story, stupid mini-map with stupid icons for stupid mini-games, ridiculous crafting/looting system (I don't care if your wallet's too small - put the money in your empty rucksack you fuck, and also why can I buy massive fucking machine-guns from VENDING MACHINES every four meters, but no one thought to invent "leather wallets" until I came along to handcraft them), ignorant checkpointing system, etc.
Man. It's a huge testament to how good the minute-to-minute shooting/jumping/stumbling about feels that I stuck with it.
