Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.
Finally killed a tiger. Shot it in the head with a handgun when it was standing still, then it turned and ran at my throat so I switched to an AK and unloaded like the fourth of fucking July. That killed it. Not sure what the tiger skin is actually for, but it feels good having one.
Did a Wanted Dead mission and it was brutal. I obviously suck, but fuck that noise. Eventually I got fed up trying to take out everybody else before knifing the commander and just crept up behind dude and stuck him while he was crouched over a fire or some shit. Everybody else spotted me and started shooting so I ran like Jesse Owens. Fuck then, I won.
Think I've put about 3 and a half hours into the game now. I've done pretty much nothing (only on the fifth main story mission), but it doesn't feel that way since there's always something to do or mess around with. Which is a good thing.
Groups of 5 or more pirates still make me their little bitch. Probably because I suck.

Meh, they're easily outsmarted. Just run and hide behind a leaf. The chargers are bastards though

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.
Also when taking out those Wanted Dead targets, or outposts, don't forget to use your camera to target them. Makes it a hell of a lot easy to track their movements. You'll be able to see them through walls and objects. Makes it easy to sneak up on them.

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.
Just started today, pretty sweet so far. Tho some animals seem a little resiliant to bullet damage. Conquered a few compounds, sabotaged radio towers, collected shitload of loot/pelts/junk and killed a whole bunch of pirates. Enjoying it so far.

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.
Got this for my birthday today, probably not gonna stick it on until tomorrow but, the praise it's got has given me high hopes for the game. Always nice to hear that there is always something to do.

Re: Far Cry 3 reviews are flooding in.
Just completed the last Outpost, really enjoyed doing those, does wind me up when you overtake one, your mates arrive and pipe up "It's all me" - was it fuck lol!!!
Talking about Outposts, i overtook one earlier in blooming CLASSIC fashion, i crawled to the outside so i can use my camera to see what is what and take note of the enemies, then all of a sudden i saw a Tiger just to my left stretching, i slowly walked away without it noticing me,
I then went closer to the Outpost and took another look, then i heard the enemies shout "Tiger" and start shooting, with no success, i sat watching from the outside whilst the Tiger took all the enemies out, and i have now overtook the Outpost,
Just brilliant lol!!!
