Will be picking mine up tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait.
I'll be getting Nintendo Land (free with console), NSMBU, ZombiU, and Trine 2 on the e-shop.
As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...
in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.
It interests me, but I'm not going to go out and fight crowds for one. I made that mistake with the Nintendo Wii the weekend following Thanksgiving in 2006. The lines were ridiculous to get them, luckily I was third or fourth in line at GameStop and got one. But I rushed out there like there was no tomorrow afterwords. People get insane when it comes to game consoles around this time of the year. So I'm thinking Spring/Summer-ish 2013 and I'll get me a Wii U.
Yeah, I agree. The system may ultimately make some quality games, but there just isn't anything I feel like I want right now or in the near future. Mario looks neat, and do does ZombiU, but that tablet is awkward to use, and there are already reports of games looking inferior to the 360 and Ps3 versions. I'm sorry, but that's just unforgivable that Nintendo couldn't even come out with a console that was even a little bit superior to a system of six years ago.
Prove me wrong Nintendo. You have one year from now. If not, it will fail like the Dreamcast. Nintendo Land is awesome. NSMBU is fun but it's like the other games in the series. Offering nothing new. Judging from the Zombi U reviews, I may not pick it up. At least I have Pikmin 3 to look forward too. At least.
Graphics wise, it's just beefed up Wii graphics. Nothing too spectacular.
