Might get a wii and mod it.

I'll just ask you what games are good since it appears you are the guru of this section @Sephiroth

Console gaming isn't dying.

Hell, I wish console games would keel over and die, since they contribute to the ongoing decay of quality games. But unfortunately, they ain't going anywhere.

CNN is fucking stupid and all the people responding to that are idiots who own a Wii and only play Wii sports - casual gamers. Don't have a clue how the business works, but feel compelled to chime in with their worthless comment below the worthless article anyhow.

Game sales are completely dependent on what games are out at a given time. If a good game(s) is out, people buy it. If not, people wait. That simple. Console sales are down because we all own one. Again, fuck CNN, the guy was just filling space soe he can collect a paycheck. I did get a laugh how he started the article by "flashing his credentials" though.

Editor's note: Since 2005, Blake Snow has covered video games and other male-interest topics for some of the biggest names in journalism. He lives in Utah with his family and is currently writing a book about finding offline balance in an online world.

LOL a Mormon writing a book to help people who play World of Warcraft find their place in society. Hahaha!

I'm sure CNN are cut deep that some "armchair expert" thinks their article is worthless. They are using real statistics while your logic includes such beauties such as "console sales are down because we all own one" nice one genius.

Since you didn't read my comment properly, let me reiterate: I didn't say I owned a wii and wii sports I said I owned a ps3, 360 and pc (and loads of games) My missus owns a wii.

I've been playing games since before you were swimming in your daddys ballbag.

Breaking news: Sales of WWE '12 decreased by almost 100% in the month of November. Experts baffled. Claim THQ should stop making WWE games now before they lose any more money.

I'm actually considering sacking the next gen of consoles off and just investing in a very powerful gaming pc. The amount of games on ps3 that I actually enjoy doesn't justify me paying 500 quid for the PS4 given the small lifetime they have before another generation is released.

How so? Because games aren't like they were 20 years ago when they would broken to the point of screwing the gamer for no reason just so they can say"hey look our game is hard!".

Games are great these days, sure maybe they could be a little "harder" and "less forgiving" but no, they shouldn't die because you're an elitist PC gamer or at least you're sounding like one.

Honestly not everyone should be forced to pump atleast 800$ to have a"kick ass PC"
