Talking Saints Row The Third anything like the first two?

Hello everyone I recently bought Saints Row The Third and I really enjoyed it. Is Saints Row 2 and Saints Row somewhat similar to Saints Row the 3rd? What are the pros and cons of Saints Row 2? I am thinking of buying Saints Row 2, Thank you.

I didn't like SRTT that much. It just felt like a stepback compared to Saints Row 2. Saints Row 2 has a lot extra side stuff and to me more content than 3. Saints Row 1 is okay but not better than 2 or SRTT. The only thing Saints Row The Third has over 1 and 2 is the gameplay mechanics are a lot better.

I deleted Saints Row 2 after 2 minutes, Saints Row 3 was a blast, fucking insane.

Its such a fun game, its got a combination of a bunch of games all rolled into one as a parody. Its great and better than both games. Don't expect story driven like GTA 4 but a solid and fun story with great gamepaly mechanics

SR3>SR1+SR2 imo

Re: Saints Row The Third anything like the first two?

Saint's Row 2 is by far the best of the series, followed by Saint's Row the Third. There is nothing to the protagonist in the original, which hurts the game big time for me. There is much more to do in the second game than the other two, and it's a better main story line as well.

Re: Saints Row The Third anything like the first two?

Saint's Row 2 was by far the best for me and I had the most fun playing it, but I could see how it might seem inferior after going from The Third to 2 but there's so much shit to do in SR2 and I would definitely recommend giving it a shot.

I actually liked the first Saints Row the best.

Saints Row 2 is the best of the series so far.

Re: Saints Row The Third anything like the first two?

I don't have Saints Row: The Third (I'm hoping to buy the Full Package tomorrow) so I don't know how it compares to Saints Row 2 or the first installment, but Saints Row 2 is fucking awesome. On top of the missions, there is a shitload of side-activities that you can take part in.

Re: Saints Row The Third anything like the first two?

I say SR2 is the best just because the stories worked better, and each gang was seperate so you could play your way.

I like to think it plays out, Brotherhood, then Sons and finally Robin before the finale.

SR3, gave the order and you played their way. I like mechanics of Saints 3 best, if they rereleased Saints 2 with Saints 3's engine I'd scoop it up quick.

Another big thing I think hurt Saints 3 is you couldn't replay missions and rewatch cutscenes. That was a major plus for Saints 2.
