My argument is this has been happening since Halo 3. They intentionally release the game with the most minimal amount of Multiplayer games possible, then release a map pack that "gives you" Swat, Snipers, ect.
Bungie, when they produced these games claimed Microsoft set the prices for the map packs, yet claimed they were in charge of the playlists. However, since Halo 2 they have forced players to buy map packs in order to use or continue to play certain playlists.
Now 343 is in charge, nothing has changed. Nothing. Of course. Now they already have a map pack due in December, and I would bet my next paycheck it's going to offer SWAT as an incentive to buy it.
This is like Madden being released but forcing you to buy the right to play as better teams. Or Mario with the ability to jump. It's complete garbage.
