Started my solo legendary playthrough today, I've done the first 3 missions with not much trouble.

The Prometheans aren't exactly brilliant to fight but at least they're a step up from the flood.

I'm enjoying Halo 4. I suck online (and at most FPS games), but I do enjoy it. The game is more intense than Reach. I'm not a fan of the loadouts, simply because no one is really on equal ground, but whatever. This and Planetside 2 should keep me busy when it comes to online gaming for the foreseeable future.

I played up to mission 7 on legendary, but for some reason it didnt register that I had completed mission 4 so I had to go back and do it again.

Liking it more than any other Halo game I've played so far. The story is interesting too, which is more than I can say for any other Halo game.

The campaign is pretty tough on Legendary. I like it.

Anyway typically on my most anticipated game of the year it hasn't arrived on time, looks like Game have fucked up again.
My argument is this has been happening since Halo 3. They intentionally release the game with the most minimal amount of Multiplayer games possible, then release a map pack that "gives you" Swat, Snipers, ect.

Bungie, when they produced these games claimed Microsoft set the prices for the map packs, yet claimed they were in charge of the playlists. However, since Halo 2 they have forced players to buy map packs in order to use or continue to play certain playlists.

Now 343 is in charge, nothing has changed. Nothing. Of course. Now they already have a map pack due in December, and I would bet my next paycheck it's going to offer SWAT as an incentive to buy it.

This is like Madden being released but forcing you to buy the right to play as better teams. Or Mario with the ability to jump. It's complete garbage.

I'm just going to say first off that SWAT became available this week and it is available to anyone.

When the map packs come out yes there will be DLC playlists and I see no problem with that, they want people to buy the DLC because they are a business, the gaming industry isn't just one big communist party and they don't give you everything you want.

There will still be plenty of playlists for you to play after the DLC has come out, this is the case with all Halo's, you will still be able to play most of the playlists that are available now and there are quite a lot of them I might add, this isn't "the most minimal amount of multiplayer possible."
