The MP for Reach was pretty horrible. It didn't feel anything like Halo.

Oh dear, you've just misinformed that poor man.
I didn't enjoy Reach's campaign at all, it completely shattered the Halo canon and all the characters were terribly bland, I couldn't get into it.

You obviously don't pay very much attention if you think that, Reach was so radically different from Halo 3 and it ended up being pretty bad compared to all the others, not a bad game but when compared to the rest of Halo's stellar MP it seemed pretty bad.
Bungie just didn't think through some of their implementations through such as bloom and Armour abilities in general, they were game breaking until 343 came and fixed them.

I cant say I ever noticed too much difference, I do think the DRM and battle rifle are wayyy to good online. Any map with a decent size just turns into long range fights with them and every other gun is pointless. I always prefer co op modes like firefight my self

Campaign is good so far. The new enemy AI shit is weird and I don't like the guns they drop, though they aren't all that different from the other guns to be honest. The year 255 or whatever and dumb dogs attacking me feels a little weak. The Mountain Lions from Red Dead Redemption were more intimidating than those idiots.

Campaign was fantastic IMO, but I agree, I also felt that the Prometheans were pretty weak as enemies. Might just be because the Covenant are such an awesome (and iconic) enemy in the series, but fighting the Prometheans just felt like a bit of a drag sometimes.
Nothing against the game though, can't stop playing it. Multiplayer is the shit.
