OP, the map pack expense problem is an issue with pretty much any shooter with multiplayer now. Companies will pre-make the maps (and even game modes), and just not release them so they can make you pay extra for them later. You essentially are paying $60 for a very short single player game, and an incomplete demo version of the multiplayer. Then you have to pay an additional $15-30 for the full multiplayer game.

That's pretty much the status quo now for any shooter with MP. That's why the CoD franchise makes such a fuckin killing. New CoD every year, and if you buy it when it comes out then get the DLC, you pretty much just forked over almost $100 a year to keep playing CoD.

Yeah, map packs are a disgraceful rip-off. I played so much Modern Warfare (1 & 2), but even I had to draw the line at the price they were charging. You're talking a quarter of retail price for ~4 new maps. I think Warhawk has the only map expansions I've bought and that was only because they were on sale and offer a lot more gameplay variety than just a new locale.

I want to go back to 2008 when Burnout Paradise and UT3 had free DLC.

The map packs are not a rip off, the price goes up as demand goes up, as long as loads of people keep buying it the price will remain the same.

The elite model in Halo 3 had the same hitboxes with the spartans, I agree this was a problem because the elites head was not actually where it appeared to be on the screen if you get me, you could still headshot them from behind though. Plus it wasn't considered cheating because you could easily just play as an elite yourself. This wasn't removed because it would have commanded a pretty large scale Title update, MS aren't fond of those because they cost money.

4. When Reach deployed there was certainly more than slayer, there were several other objective gametypes and I'm not sure how you missed them I can just say you are wrong.

5. Shishka wasn't fired, he left and now he works at 343, enjoy him being your playlist overlord during Halo 4. You also spelled his name wrong.

6. Yes 343 will do absolutely everything MS say because guess what? They have to.

stoked for Halo 4. All the other Halo's have been of great quality. The gameplay for 4 looks ,if not better, exactly the same as the others; just new bad guys, new characters, and new weapons. You don't have to play online or for certain maps (1.) no one is forcing you to buy maps or modes 2.) they eventually become free).

Can't wait to play with you online OP and find out your a 6 year old or you hate black people.
