In an era when scoring an 8 something for a game is easier than scoring anything but, including a lower score (see Gameinformer magazine for explanation, where slightly over half the games they review are all in a single bracket of ten in scoring), managing two early 5's is not a good sign at all. Worse, I really can't think of the last time a Medal of Honor game was actually good much less great. The franchise hasn't released anything averaging over an 80% score in almost a decade now. If someone says "Medal of Honor" I still think "Allied Assault: The Omaha Beach raid" (which was a top 10 of all time gaming moment for me, maybe top 5) and then that's all. Nothing else sticks out. Jesus, EA should kill this franchise for good and rename it as something else. I can't imagine it's vastly profitable, and it's actually a lot worse than Modern Warfare, for all the ribbing on that series people do.

Alright, sorry. It was terrible. So forgetful, uninspiring and broken up by naff cut-scenes and pointless quick time events. The game is saved by the multiplayer, but the single player stuff is rubbish.
