Re: Has the Medal of Honor franchise put out a GOOD game in the past 9 years?
Rising Sun. Me, my cousin, and brother played that game. The community was cool as fuck. Everyone hosted their own rooms with their clans in there. You'd go in and challenge for a clan battle. Game was money back in the day.
While it's not necessarely a great game, I'm just seeing the 5-5.5 ratings the game is getting. What the fuck? Seriously? The game uses the same beast engine BF3 used, it looks great and the weapons have realistic recoil to them and shit. Okay, the AI isn't all that great and it's nothing really fancy, but how come Battlefield 3 scored 9/10 and this one gets 5/10 when it's almost the same thing. Reviewers said last year that BF3's campaign is bad yet the game still got 9/10, only for the multiplayer? These reviewers have their heads up their asses.
Because BF3 is a multiplayer game which only added SP to get some people without online to buy it? People rate BF3 on multiplayer, I played the MoH game two years ago and it was a horrible mix between COD and BF.
So what was the point of this thread? I think I have proven you wrong twice.
Spec Ops was better than recent MoH games, so you didn't "prove" anything wrong twice, Nerple.
The "point" of the thread, not to be confused with the point on top of your head (courtesy of the cone shaped hat that rests on your noggin) is that the MoH franchise has been in dire need of a reboot, or burial, for a while now. Unless you have some kind of insider info (here's your big chance to pretend you do!) that everyone is in cahoots to bury this game so that it gets a poor score on Gamerankings or Metacritic.
