No doubt this game is getting shitty ratings just for the fact that these modern warfare type games have hit their limit of excitement.
Different game, same shit = Boring.

Rising Sun was pretty froot. Had the Silent Hill 2 formula of making up for its gameplay where it had story and atmosphere.

Why did Battlefield 3 campaign suck? You'd think a game that hyped could of made a good story at least. MW3 kinda sorta did. I'm not even sure the Battlefield 3 campaign was the same as any MoH game anyhow.
I mean, while Medal of Honor still gets slammed, some other games like Spec Ops: The Line, somehow have a similar timeframe and manage to make a more meaningful plot and story, so it's not entirely due to the modern military theme IMO, to go with what F1Bob was saying. I really didn't feel all that excited or like I was deeply invested with MoH Warfighter and RS had shoddy gameplay mechanics I felt.

While it's not necessarely a great game, I'm just seeing the 5-5.5 ratings the game is getting. What the fuck? Seriously? The game uses the same beast engine BF3 used, it looks great and the weapons have realistic recoil to them and shit. Okay, the AI isn't all that great and it's nothing really fancy, but how come Battlefield 3 scored 9/10 and this one gets 5/10 when it's almost the same thing. Reviewers said last year that BF3's campaign is bad yet the game still got 9/10, only for the multiplayer? These reviewers have their heads up their asses.

Counter-Strike is considered one of the best PC games ever...but there is no single player only multiplayer. Wtf! People have their heads up their asses.
