Re: ASS CREED III - October 30th, 2012....Bye Ezio :'(

The game is quite buggy, but it doesn't make the game unplayable at all, although they've been rage inducing at times. For example just before I went into a house to start a mission I got "spotted" apparently by one of the guards so they ran at me but I already entered the house to start mission and cut scene. Cut scene is over etc and you're supposed to be incognito now, so my companion starts to talk as part of the mission but we get fucking attacked by a horde of guards. Was just broken.

There are also a few minor things I think are flawed, but they aren't bugs. I don't like how every rifle you pick up only has one bullet. You shoot another guard and immediately you get the annoying message you need ammo. Really, every guard only has one bullet? Really? Later on in the game forts get introduced and you can attack them and do a side mission. So I invade one, kill almost all the guards inside. When I get chased by a few guards I run out of the fort for a sec, I kill them, I go back to the fort, ALL enemies have respawned, a horde of men standing at the door. Fuck that shit. Another thing is sometimes enemies initiate an attack but I'm running and they are clearly too far away from me so I ignore it and don't try to block....nope they still somehow "tap" me with their rifle, come on. Anyway, I could go on, there are loads of minor things wrong which doesn't make this a great game, but good, and fun.

Yea but Connor doesn't pick up the ammo and in those days all you had was one round in the gun.

so I just got the assassin cloak finally (I'm slow and barely play), and stole stole some power supply from some NY building; and meet David Cross.

Does conner get older? I feel like he is 16 and fucking up all of England. and is the entire game just one long tutorial, or do I ever get multiple missions like AC 1 & 2 style ever?

Re: ASS CREED III - October 30th, 2012....Bye Ezio :'(

Just finished, spoilers below.
Spoiler for Connor's Ending:
I thought Connor's ending with Lee in the bar was brilliant

Spoiler for Desmond's Ending:
I did not like this at all. Spend the whole game fighting for freedom as Connor only for Desmond to surrender it.

Some other random complaints:

The Iriquois language, while innovative, was not very well done. Only block of text took about 4 times as long as the English would and it seemed more of a chore to listen to with every line. It also sounds like the words were just read from a script with 0 emotion. Characters were supposedly angry yet talking in monotone.

Spoiler for Sequence 9/10:
When you kill the iriquois guy that you trained to hunt, I could not have care less. He seemed like such an unimportant character.

Spoiler for the whole game:
The lack of an Ezio v Cesare fight disappointed me. Hickey is a simple assassination, Haytham a cutscene where you press X and lee a cutscene entirely. I wish one of these would have been a large fight.

It also felt like none of the side missions mattered much, Throughout the whole game, I did not recruit a second assassin, I only improved the homestead by accident and didn't feel the need to do any liberation missions. Tbf though, the hunting and sailing were great fun.

I agree the side missions feel a bit flat. Hunting, frontier missions etc are okay but nothing special. I also feel like they didn't do enough to make you aware there are side missions. It's because I looked at the map that I found out different things to do, they never introduced them. They also don't feel really rewarding, you can't do anything with the animals you skin, unless I'm missing something here.

Regret waiting this long to find out the only way to get quiver upgrade is by doing things at the homestead.
