I don't think I could name 10 games that came out this year and I enjoyed. Max Payne 3, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, Mass Effect 3 (even though it was disappointing), Sleeping Dogs and FIFA. Even sequels to games I liked didn't catch my interest, I didn't bother to finish either Borderlands 2 or Darksiders 2 (gave up on this one after 1-2 hours).

The majority of games I played that were released this year I didn't like. Plus, I've been keeping score on the games that's been released, so I'm pretty sure I haven't missed any that's worthy of attention.

I've enjoyed quite a few games this year. Warriors Orochi 3, Mass Effect 3 (disappointing, yes, but I did enjoy it), The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, Dragon's Dogma, Binary Domain, Xenoblade, The Last Story, Soul Calibur V (even though it's not Soul Calibur II), Code of Princess, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, Tales of Graces F, and Dead or Alive 5 round out my favorite releases for 2012. Halo 4, Planetside 2, and Paper Mario: Sticker Star end my holiday line-up (and one of 'em is free).
I stopped giving a crap about AC3 a month or so ago, which is why I canceled my pre-order. I'm buying it, but not until the price drops.

Caesar, Toys R Us doorbusters on Nov. 2nd and 3rd will have it for $48, or it'll be $30-40 on Black Friday. Expect it to be $30 by next March.
How'd you like Code of Princess? I'm currently replaying everything as Allegro  . Are you picking up Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward?
