Re: Games with a good ending in the 7th Generation

Arkham City and Red Dead Redemption instantly sprung to my mind as soon as I read the title, both unforgettable for me.

Uh, explain the bold. You liked the ending with dying from radiation with a giant immune to radiation creature standing right next to you (if you had Fawkes) who could of walked 12 feet and done it for you as easy as anything?

Agreed, Fallout 3's main story in general including the end had so many plot holes in it wasn't even funny. Didn't see a problem with NV's though, or Skyrim for that matter, the endings weren't 'great' but there wasn't much to complain about. I actually quite liked the Borderlands 2 ending, set up a sequel really well.

Anyway I agree Reach had a pretty good ending even though I wasn't a fan of the rest of the campaign and it's the same with Halo 3 really. ME1 and 2 both had good endings, all Assassin Creed games have good endings, I especially loved the Revelations ending even though the game as a whole was the weakest of the three I have played.

I liked it because Fawkes is very spritual so he said its your destiny. I had Charon with me and he should have done it with no issues. I liked the ending though, maybe it was due to Ron Perlman. war.....war never changes

Know many ppl online hate MW3 but I thought the ending was great. the mission was crazy and just showed how badass Price is.

Red Dead Redemption, Arkham City (also Harley Quinn's revenge one is nice), A Game of Thrones (expecially if you "chose" the night watch ending), L.A Noire (I'm probably one of the few who liked it a lot?)

- Max Payne 3
- Arkham City
- Dragon Age Origins
- The Walking Dead (all 4 episodes have good endings)
- Mass Effect 1 & 2
- Alpha Protocol

I didn't like Red Dead Redemption's ending either.

Limbo's ending was better than Braid's.

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.

I must be the only person who doesn't think the Red Dead ending was anything special. John gets killed by Ross, Jack kills Ross, the end. It fit with Ross's motive of hunting down all the former gang members but it just didn't do anything for me, it felt like it didn't have any closure. The second you shoot Ross the game's over, I mean, really...

On top of that, you had barely any emotional attachment to Jack since they only brought him in at the end. I probably would've cared a lot more if they had just done something where Ross and John shoot each other at the same time, at least that way I'd have killed him with somebody I cared about. Then they could do some kind of aftermath with the family to wrap it up.
Lol what?

The AC stories have nothing to with the future.
