Got the GOTY edition a few days ago and running through it single player. Annoyingly not a soul on my friends list is interested in number 2 or co op on it, preferring to go alone. So well I thought I will wait until 2 drops in price and get the first one.

So DLC....Im eager to play the zombie island because...its zombies! But are the DLC packs meant to be after main game content or inbetween or simply what would be better played in what order for the most fun.

I stopped letting randoms join my games because people dont understand ITS MY CAMPAIGN and I might want to take my time or do everything possible.

I rather ask here than say gamefaq because you all appear to have an IQ

You can play them after you finish the main game or in between, it doesn't make much difference, since the story isn't really a focus in the game, but you have to be a certain level to be able to beat the DLCs. For instance, I think that the enemies in The Zombie Island of Dr Ned are like Lvl 35, so you should be over Lvl 30 to survive. I haven't played either of them, just checked them out, the Zombie Island DLC seemed the only interesting one for me, the rest seemed pretty meh.

I think most of them require some leveling up to play and actually succeed at, for example the Claptrap Revolution DLC requires you to be level 61 which would take 2 playthroughs. I played Zombie Island and Secret Armory before I had finished the main game and that worked alright for me.

Don't even bother with Moxxi's Underdome, it is seriously tedious and apparently some of the challenges can take up to 4 hours to complete, you don't even get exp for killing things even though the enemies are scaled to your level.

Imo the Secret Armory is the best one that I have played at least, Zombie Island was good at first but got kinda boring and I haven't gotten round to playing Claptrap Revolution yet.

Zombie DLC between playthru 1 and 2 and the Knox/Claptrap DLCs after playthru 2.5.

That is what is recommended for the best loot/experience based on level.

Moxxi DLC is only good to see her tits and the much needed weapon bank to store your items that you want to keep but not carry around.

Then just play them at your leisure.

Don't be surprised if you do replay it. Most fans that playthrough it once have kept going.
