I hope there are significant changes from the previous ones. I pretty much gave up on beating them cause I got bored

I'm a total AC junkie, so I can't wait. Bring it on. I like how they're going completely off the beaten path into an alternate history as well. I enjoy completely different takes on major events.

I'm so excited for this game, purchased the Freedom Edition. Really looking forward to playing this when it arrives.

I'm still not sold on this American War theme with this half American half Native dude as your character. The game taking place in Italy was why the series was good, that's what made 2 and Brotherhood so awesome for me. 1 and Revelations taking place in other countries was some of the reasons why they kinda sucked. However, I'll keep an open mind going into this.

I agree, the Italy setting was amazing, and I was initally quite negative on the American Revolution as the setting, and to be honest, I'm still not happy that that's what they chose over something I would've personally liked more, but they're putting a lot of effort into this game and it looks really great, so I can deal with it.

AC 1 and Revelations had settings I didn't care for, but those were both middle eastern. To me, that's not a very gripping setting for a game with the style and feel of Assassin's Creed, this makes more sense although again it's not my choice. If I had it my way, I would've either done Medieval England as my 1'st choice, Victorian England as my 2'nd, or as a 3'rd choice the French Revolution. Maybe this one as the 4'th because I don't know what else you'd do, besides Italy, which was amazing but it had been done great, twice, and a change keeps things fresher, and Nazi Germany which I absolutely would not have wanted.

I completely disagree. They needed a change in environment and this is it.

The whole Italian building style got extremely dull for me quick and every building was exactly the same basically. All the other periods Tyrion listed wouldn't see much scenery change compared to Colonial America.

Not only do we get to roam the wilderness as Connor, but the cities look amazing.

Its also needed to see how deep the Templars went instead of just being in Europe and MIddle East.

EDIT: Feudal Japan also would've been good. Or some ancient Empire.

The whole Italian thing just got boring too quick and it all seemed the same.

So you kept buying the new installments, and didn't finish any of them?

I have enjoyed every setting that each game has used. Perhaps me being a history buff and appreciating all those eras is why. Revolutionary War era Boston and NYC should be great.

Always been a huge AC fan, I have enjoyed all the games. The storyline has so many twists and turns that I just can't help myself trying to figure more out. AC III, it's safe to say I'm pretty excited to play.
