"Option" to play online may have been the better word to use. But you know what I mean.

When your Live subscription runs out, you can't play online until you resubscribe. Just like when your PS+ expires, you can't play those games... until you resubscribe.

XBL is better than PS3 though.

- Party chat
- Easier to use
- Voice message
- Private chat
- DLC early
- Nice dashboard apps, that are actually good

XBL also has rewards and discounts.

I honestly wouldn't play single player games if I couldn't go in party chat.

EDIT: Just stating XBL is better than PSN. They're both pretty balls compared to Steam.
