Never played any of the RE series. Wanted to try RE5 cuz it looked cool but never got to it. One day I will try them. Game wasnt gonna be recieved well anyway. Ppl hate how they have gone more actiony instead of horror.

Isnt Leon's campaign suppose to be the more horror one over Chris and Wesker Jrs action game type.

Yeah. They have tried to cater to all audiences with this one. Resident Evil 5 was more actiony which is why it wasn't so well received with die hard Resident Evil fans for the most part. I thought it was okay, though I still liked 4 more. 5 is definitely still worth a play though.

I wouldnt call it horror at all, theres no actual survival horror. Capcom have pulled wool over peoples eyes with that one. They said its more like the old style, no it isnt. It has more homages to the old style in its locations

I just got the new PS magazine today and thy gave it positive reviews. Also said it had over 30 hours of gameplay which is a plus, if the game play is good that is.

I pick up my pre-order tomorrow from Gamestop cant wait.

I enjoyed RE5, but nowhere as much as I did 4. I'll be picking up a copy of RE6 eventually. Just going to wait for it to drop in price first.

I figured the reviews would be all over a place with a game like this. They'll prefer one storyline over the others and the rest of the game just won't compare. Either way, I'm still going to buy this. Resident Evil 4 was one of my favorite games ever and I thought Resident Evil 5 was great. The only thing I disliked about Resident 5 was that my co-op partner was completely fucking stupid, and from what I've read they've seemed to have fixed this issue. So I really doubt I'm going to be disappointed with this game.

I was just reading that CAPCOM thinks RE6 might be too hard for casual gamers or those new to RE so they are putting in an option to turn on unlimited ammo at game start. Good idea or bad?

I hope no one uses it.
