Any number of things, really. Throw a bottle, as Skyfall said. Bang my knife against a wall somewhere nearby. Possess one of them and move them into cover, then choke 'em out. Or, y'know, go around them.

Re: Dishonored

I just finished the first mission but I think I have to restart the whole game on Hard difficulty instead of Normal, far too easy to kill. The autosave doesn't do shit, the autosave icon appeared after I got to the sewers, but when I died (intentionally) it put me back to the beginning, in the prison cell and there was no save file in the sewers. It's pretty decent, but it really didn't amaze me that much. Maybe if I'll play it more I'll become a fan.

Re: Dishonored

Thanks for the tips guys. I would like the game more if I wasn't horrible at it.

Re: Dishonored

I'm still not entirely sold on this game. It's like the game doesn't really reward the way I play, I'm not much of a stealth fan, I'd rather play it as an assassin and slash my enemies in cold blood, playing this game the stealth way isn't much fun but running around and blasting people isn't much fun either, the exploration and dialogue is good, but the rest isn't that great IMO.

Re: Dishonored

I agree ^^^ there isn't anything extra fo going throughout an entire mission stealthy and non-lethal. just a trophy or something. It seems like the most fun way to play is to be stealthy but still kill everyone when needed. But I want the happy ending so I'm doing as little killing as possible.

Re: Dishonored

Okay, so I finished the first mission.. or the second mission. I guess it counts as the first mission, the first one you receive after meeting with the loyalists. I had to save all the time to be able to reload if I fuck up and I had to reload saves a LOT. I managed to finish the mission with low chaos, on hard mode, so I'm pretty satisfied with myself. Found 6/7 shrines, done all the side objectives, explored some, I think I got the hang of it, the powers are pretty cool, I'm curious how things will unfold.

Re: Dishonored

The game is starting to get much more fun for me.

Starting to come into my own as a character and discover tons of ways and such,

Can't wait for a lethal playthrough.

the last rune (not shrine) is in the main building where you assassinate the bad guy. you have to go to the room on the right (with the steps going upstairs) and there is a door in a corner that takes you downstairs. there is then a door on your left leading to the kennels, and a statue to your right. push the statue's eye and a secret passage will open leading to a rune. hardest one to find IMO; and I bet that's the one you missed.
