Yeah this is how they fuck you up. They put up a lame ass roster so they pretty much force you to pay for the good dlc. More cash in their pocket.

God what a pathetic attempt to cash in, a Sony rip off of smash bros. Look at that list, none of those are really iconic or even suit the cartoony wacky style that Smash bros originally did. Its like the little big planet mario kart rip off they have done

Re: PS All-Stars Default Roster Announced

Is it wrong that I don't even know who quite a few of these characters are?

They have some cool wildcards (Ratchet, the Medievil skeleton guy, Paparappa) but as others have said they're missing a few bigger and older names such as Crash and Lara Croft.

I'm sure there are some other big names from back on the PS I'm forgetting as well, even if they don't come out with as many new games these days.

Re: PS All-Stars Default Roster Announced

Crash and Spyro lost their name value long ago. Even if they were included, it wouldn't do much. Lara Croft is questionable, but she was a Playstation icon who was popular at first, lost her luster, and is slowly getting some of it back again (even at the expense of the new game's identity). However, Big Daddy? More like big whoop. I like Raiden being included. I don't care for much of the roster, though.

Re: PS All-Stars Default Roster Announced

Nintendo had iconic characters which is what helped them the most. You can say the 2nd most important character in the Mario series is more known than Kratos or Crash. Luigi and Bowser are well known and have been around much longer. I think the gameplay will be great though. Im prob nore excited to use Nathan Drake and evil Cole. hey atleast online play will be better in this game. Its awful on Wii I tried once and never again.

I really think they should have thrown in Jimmy Hopkins from Bully. He would have been perfect for this game. Having all your enemies slipping on marbles and shooting the shit out of them with a potato gun would have been great.
