It seems that Microsoft renew the Killer Instinct trademark. This could mean a xbla re-release or an official sequel to the game. Regardless, this is pretty awesome news.

Apparently long back when during the time of Microsoft's first acquiring of RARE Killer Instinct III was very high in the development process and was set for an eventual release for this gen's consoles, but the queers at Microsoft thought RARE was better suited for Kinect games after it's creation. This all comes from a RARE employee who worked with them around the time of Kinect's early development stages. Seriously though how the hell do you stick a company like RARE to fucking motion games? And before anyone makes an (unsuccessful) Wii argument, Kinect games that force the use of the peripheral on you have been critical disasters.
