Call of Duty World at War

Do any of you still play it online? If not why not give it another try? I've been playing it since day one when it came out. Sure I've played all the other COD's that came out after it but to me it's the most fun of them all.

Anyways, there's only about 6,000 people playing online each day and holding steady so far. I figured I would try and increase that number by asking some of you that haven't played in a while to give it another shot.

I played through the campaign, it was good. that was about it. Just not as exciting now that COD modern warfare or Black Ops is out. but the Pshh (russian machine gun with 70 rounds) was a beast.

There are hackers on on some of the easier missions but not every day. If I see a hacker I exit out and go back in usually to a hacker free mission.

I quit playing Black Ops online because World at War is more fun to me. But I can't wait to play Blacks Ops II.

Re: Call of Duty World at War

The majority of the people online are playing Zombies. Last time I played the game, there was only a few hundred people in the TDM playlist (which is usually the most played playlist along with Search and Destroy) and often times I'd run into hacked lobbies. Similar to Cod 4 really. Two great games ruined by hackers while thousands of people continue to play the abomination that is MW3...

Re: Call of Duty World at War

I remember being in a Zombies match with a friend and some random guy came in.

He started modding the shit out of it and dropping piles and piles of weapons everywhere. He ended up fully prestiging us and went on his way. Was bonkers.

Zombies truly made that game though, got all the maps for Black Ops, so much fun when I was jobless and would have 20 hour sessions getting to wave 99.

I still play COD4. Not WaW. That game was fun when it came out though.

Re: Call of Duty World at War

One of the most annoying pieces of shit even before it got modded to shit. Obviously zombies was great but everything else was trash.

I had WaW for awhile, then sold it about a year ago. Zombies were alright, but the rest of the online experience sucked. The online experience sucks for the rest of CoD games for me as well, which is why I stick to Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1, and 3.
