Not to be a dick but you put"backwards comparable" instead of "compatible"

Basic set (8GB) - $299.99: Wii U console, GamePad, HDMI cable, sensor bar, AC adapter

Deluxe set (32GB) - $349.99: Same as basic, plus GamePad charging cradle, stand for GamePad and console, Nintendo Land

Lol, I'm typing as I watch the video so my spelling isn't always the best .

Does the basic package definitely include a sensor bar? Unless the UK version is different, I'm sure only the Deluxe set did?

Does the US have a Wii Pack with the Wii controllers and a Sensor bar? If not, then it must just be a UK thing lol.

Updated the first post to show that there might be some US/UK differences.

DO WANT the new Mario.

That's a real weak line up. Considering how all the new mario bros. games have been getting some recent criticism for being exactly the same. I can't believe I'm not psyched at all for the release of a new Nintendo system. hope I'm not being a bummer for you guys.

I've yet to play a bad Mario platformer, so I'm still super excited. The 2-D ones, yeah, kinda the same for the most part, but still all VERY good and usually having some kind of new feature.

Can't wait for the next 3-D one .

Yah I'm also not really interested in a Wii U. I'm fine with my Wii and 3ds in terms of Nintendo consoles. The wii u isn't a whole lot different from the wii , and its not going to give me any real new experiences any time soon apart from zombiu. When Nintendo was working on this, I was hoping they'd go the hardcore route but that quickly shut my hopes down. They're too smart to get away from the casual/kids demographic. Smart business from them.Maybe I'll pick it up when its cheap but probably not
