There are some similarities especially with the soldier/commando as they both use a turret. That's the character I'm using because I liked it so much in the original. There are alot of differences though.

General Knoxx DLC was great, Moxxi's arena was terrible though.

It was an awesome game. I rented it last wednesday, and returned it the next day because of Redbox's two day rental deal.

It's a better overall game, but I don't think it has the character that the 1st did.

downloaded BL1 and 2 over the weekend...gunna play them in order, and from what I'm seeing from the first 10 levels in BL1, I cant really understand why the fuck i didnt get this game sooner. The graphics offer a different spin than the current over-saturation of "OMG HD SO REAL IT MAKES REALITY LOOK FAKE" that we're seeing in the gaming industry. The story doesnt seem half bad either.

Hopefully both games live up to what I'm expecting

I don't like the spawning of baddies in #2. I'll wipe out a whole camp, go up some steps and a whole slew of new baddies just pop up. WTF.

I absolutely love the Borderlands style of graphics as well, ZM. Also if you like the start of Borderlands then you're going to love the rest of it. Enjoy the ride

Yeah that sucks if so. But guess more enemies to kill and lvl up. Some of you are lvl 13 and stuff. U guys leveling up fast by playing a ton or do u just get loads of experience for sidequests. Probably get it at red box tomorrow.

Always lived the graphics of the first. Made the game different. But man do I love that commercial of Borderlands 2 where they are realistic like. Are there really cool guns. In the first all I remember are the awesome elemental ones and The Dove lol. I wanna gun I never have to reload again lol

I admit, when I first started playing (mind you, i never read a review or saw a gameplay video) I said "uh why do i feel like I'm playing in a comic book?" But then I got through the tutorial, and the first handful of levels and thought more about it and said that the graphics are perfectly fine, as I'm tired of every game developer finding the need to give us this "realer than real" experience. It's almost like they spend so much time on the graphical feeling, that they forget to give us a compelling story. If the graphics on BL were like they are on games like CoD, and BF, and Crysis, I think the feel would be shitty.

And yeah, I'm thoroughly enjoying the first few levels. It's been a while since I played a game that while I'm at work I say "shit I cant wait to get home to play that". I'll take your word for it that I'm in for a fun ride
