I still havn't defeated the final boss on Borderlands 1 yet LOL, but i bought this yesterday (the first new game that has really interested me since Mass Effect 3 tbh)

Is it the same sort of feel as the original, aint had the chance to play it yet.

The atmosphere and comedy is the same, yes. The gameplay feels slightly different, in a good way.

zep, it plays alot like the original. You know you're playing Borderlands but there are some differences. Most are for the good but I don't like the menu when looking at my gun in this game as much as I did in the original. But yeah it's mostly all for the best though. I have very few complaints.

I'm pretty sure it was under $1,000. Depending on your monetary status, that may or may not be worth it to you. In the end, it sure as hell wasn't for me.

How many slots do you have in your backpack now? I have 21... I love buying extra room lol

Did you get a good Firehawk shield from Lilyth? Mine sucked from a capacity point of view... barely over 200.

I've got 24 slots in my backpack, and that's where I'll probably max out. I'm not in need of more.

My Firehawk was about the same, iirc. Barely used that POS. Bought a boss shield for 8 GRAND earlier, though. Capacity: 1455 - Recharge Rate: 256 - Recharge Delay: 4.06 - Elemental Resistance: +37% - Max Health: +449. Pretty beastly, if I do say so myself.

I did get a lot of good loot on that Bane quest, btw. I did the quest @ level 23 and got a bunch of good weapons that required me to be level 24, so when I leveled up, I had a pretty solid catalog of new weapons. I actually ended up getting a full new set, the only one I'll still use from my prior set is my trusty Rocket Launcher that I've had for a while. It's saved my ass so many times.

Damn I need a shield like that lol. I think mine is something like 500 or a little more. It recharges pretty quick though. I'm not sure my health would ever get touched if I had a shield like yours.

I never have been much of a rocket launcher fan... I need to give them more of a fair shake in this game. I hate how you had to aim at the ground with them last game. Is it the same this game?

What level are you? My shield is really good because A) It was so fucking expensive, and B) I'm level 24. I'm not going to be using some pussy shit with 400 HP of protection.

I don't use the Rocket Launcher as a regular weapon, but if I come across some unholy strong enemy, I'll take it out and dispatch of the fella rather quickly. Using it when I go down have been fantastic for me.

And no, you don't have to aim at the ground.
