I bought it Sunday for 50% off but I doubt its still that price. Wasnt it just an allstar weekend thing.
I named my created player Sirius Black and he has the Black Hole as his nickname.

I think the game was down to $30 too. I don't know about now though. I bought the All-Star stuff for myself last Wednesday. My Player currently is in his third year and is playing for Portland as the starting PG. Batum and Matthews were traded to Houston the previous season for Harden and Parsons. Then this season Damian Lillard was traded for Thomas Robinson. So the starting lineup for Portland is:
PG: My Player
SG: James Harden
SF: Chandler Parsons
PF: Thomas Robinson
C: LaMarcus Aldridge
6: J.J. Hickson

Play some exhibition games so you can get understanding of how the game works and get used to the controls some more.
As far as game modes, create a My Player.

Got myself traded from Philly (was 40-13 with them) to the Jazz who are about .500. Hoping that I can meet my old team in the finals. I was traded for Millsap. Still rook season.

So just got the game and played first match. Did pretty well for first time, but are there any tutorials or other things to just learn controls and practice?
Edit: Awesome got drafted by the Celtics, despite playing very very very poor in the rookie match :P

Not a massive fan of NBA but I just got this game for £12 (God bless a HMV closing down sale) so I'm trying to get into it. At the moment the hardest thing seems to be defending. It will sound stupid but does anyone have advice? M I always seem to be getting fouls/Shooting fouls but no real idea why.
