FFVII probably didn't make the top 10 because they already had 2 games on that list there. I saw FFIX ranked low, and really didn't give a fuck about the list after that. I bet Dragon Quest V wasn't even ON the list (perhaps someone can confirm that)
Diablo 2 as an rpg is kinda funny, not even remotely RPG. Action game revolving around gear. WoW had more story than Diablo. Now you have people who want Borderlands on the list? Apparently RPG games are everything now. Hell, put Modern Warfare, and Street Fighter 2 on the list. Those were great RPG games. Oh and Madden 08 too. Sick story in that game.

This is my main qualm with the list, why would it not be included in a top 100 list?
And no Borderlands is not going to be rated as an rpg when it is mainly an action game. |

Yeah, Borderlands shouldn't be on the list. It's mainly an action game with small moments of RPG in it.

Agree with the top 2.
Ys Book I & II should of been higher. Top 10 lacked Suikoden, Vagrant Story and Vandal Hearts. Agree with FFIV too.

DA:O was a pretty decent RPG, but the Derp Roads was way too grindy. Still better than most of the RPG's on the list.
Mask of the Betrayer > NWN2 as well.

Diablo 2 is as much an RPG as the Mass Effect series, which is highly actiony as well. Oblivion too.
