Oh, you mentioned Driver. San Francisco (that was the simple name, right?) was not your standard Driver game, but it was quite good, having in mind the direction that they chose.

Just got to a bit where you learn the "leap from one car to another whilst driving" bit.

That whole mechanic is ripped straight outta Wheelman, a game I doubt a lot of people played, just thought I'd pass that on.

EDIT: Actually, you could sideways ram into other cars in Wheelman too. I'd forgotten that.

I actually thought they took that part from Just Cause... Still, I like it.

Yeah but this game is far more like GTA than either Saints Row 3 or Just Cause 2 was. JC2 wasvery different. This game is; they have a ton of things in common.

Just tried it. I'm disappointed, why does every PC game these days have to have terrible mouse implementation? It's almost unplayable, the camera is extremely awkward. I'm hoping for a patch or something.

Reflections fucked up the lead they had on GTA early on. When GTA 1 and 2 had the SNES looking overview style, Driver was one of the first 3D, open map games where you could get out of your car. Then Rockstar dropped GTA3 and Reflections shit the bed.
