Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Multiplayer looks more polished but wayyyyy more complicated and compacted than past CoD games. I wasn't planning on getting it anyway but I can't see myself getting into it.

It would be fun to play with friends though I guess?

All I've got to say is that looked very MW3ish... Which is a bad thing. I just hope I'm wrong and it does turn out good, because I really enjoyed Black Ops.

I'm guessing people forgot that Treyarch helped with development of MW3...

I'm guessing people forgot that Treyarch fucking sucks and is one of the worst developers of all-time...

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Looks alright, but man I wish the multiplayer was set in the 1980's part of the game, so it would be different to all the futuristic shooters we've already got.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

I'm worried it's just going to be like an extended skin change to the COD engine right now; which I know it is. but, Black OPs was suprisingly really good, so I'll pick it up for $40, if it is just a skin change.

Hopefully people can't run around using the sniper rifle like it's a fucking assault rifle.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Treyarch made Black Ops not have the stupid Quickdraw for Sniper rifles thankfully, so hopefully BO2 will be the same, as it's unfair someone can run around getting one shot kills like its a long range auto shotgun. Quickscoping pisses me off as much as campers and TDM players in other game modes.

I will get it for the Zombies, the Zombies was the best part about Black Ops IMO.

I thought Sledgehammer and Raven Software helped with the development? Says on Wiki, Treyarch helped out on the Wii version of the game. Don't get me wrong, the video looked good, I just hope it doesn't end up being another Kill-streak fest like most IW games are.
