Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Damn this game is full of bugs and glitches, how did this even get released in this state. One bug made me replay a whole level because the scripted scene didn't happen as it supposed to. On the Afgan level my horse got stuck in the ground, half of the horse was in the ground, stuck, couldn't ride it no more. I only played a couple hours but I already encountered some game breaking ones, which is sad, because I'm enjoying the campaign.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Think the MP is good just two things are letting it down . The first being the lag , I can put about 4 bullets in a guy then he kills me instantly with the killcam showing him spraying when on my screen it wasn't the case. Secondly , I think the maps are quite poor the only ones I seem to enjoy playing are:

Standoff
Express
Hijacked
Yemen
Nuketown 2025
Slums

All the others are garbage with way too much clutter for head glitching.

This is my main problem with this game. Every fight seems to be against someone with their forehead popping out on an elevated position. Gets VERY annoying.

And the spawns are so bad I refuse to play any gametype with sides. In Kill Confirmed the second i start running to the enemy they spawn right behind me.

I don't know why IW and 3ARC keep on making these tiny, cramped maps. The game needs some Wasteland, Mansion, Overgrown, etc. The maps, though smaller, kind of force bad players to play defensively or get destroyed the second they go out.

Oh and fuck the Hunter Killer drone. I was about to get a VTOL and a Hunter Killer dropped on me. I was so mad.

The more I play this, the more I appreciate BF3. The lag, the spawning, the kids...

BF3 is still the benchmark for fps console gaming multiplayers imo.

That's not the reason. It's easier to make games for the Xbox and then port it to the PS3 than the other way around. PS3 users/fans always refer to the graphical power of the PS3 over the 360 but all major titles are made for both consoles (except for Uncharted and shit but those are rare), so those titles will always first be made for the 360 and optimized on it, so who gives a shit about the GFX power of the PS3 then? Arguably the two biggest titles in the world right now COD and FIFA are better on the 360.

Agreed, it's ridiculous. I don't mind in multiplayer 'cause I'm not a graphics whore anyway and if average graphics makes the game run smooth on MP then fine. But for SP I expect an experience with good graphics nowadays. Sloppy.
They're better on the 360 coz they're designed for the hardware then ported to the PS3 which is more powerful so therefore it feels dodgy. It's a shame coz it happens every year. Imagine if they were made for the PS3 how much better it'd look/feel.

Treyarch are more known for designing multiplayer maps with more elevated areas and camping spots than IW are. But they always make the maps balanced so there's plenty of small and open maps to run and gun in. It caters to all players, not just one like IW do. I always have classes and approach matches depending on the map and the game mode.

Yeah, I have trouble knifing people on some games. Especially annoying when it doesn't even work for an entire game. I'm just slicing nothing, yet enemies can just slice thin air and kill me. My friend is pretty good at it, always using his combat knife and raking up the kills.

When I first played that map back when Black Ops 1 came out back in 2010 I really enjoyed it. But then everyone wanted to play it and at one point I played it 9 times in a row, I got quite bored of it. Not really a big fan of Hijacked either...

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

The only things I HATE about the multiplayer -

SMG's are OP, getting more hits with an AR vs someone with an SMG at range and I die

Snipers are OP, I got shot in the ass and it killed me (quickscoping should get a damage nerf and only OHK in the head). Also, the ZOMGLEETPLAYERZ who do this shit, only play objective games and sit across the map hardscoping on the objective (not the games fault).

Matchmaking putting me in a game on the losing team right near the end and in the middle of an enemy a killstreak spam.
