Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
Only played the first 2 campaign levels and it seems really fun, played MP otherwise. I'm pissed I didn't get the Nuketown 2025 map (I rented the game) because I heard that's great, maps are pretty meh but I hope I'll get used to them.

Same. I bought the game but didn't pre-order it, so I didn't get Nuketown. I heard there's a playlist just for Nuketown. Maps are ok for me, some I like and I'm quite familar with, others are just awful and I can't find a good way to play them (Plaza comes to mind).
I don't suppose anyone has a Nuketown code for Xbox that they're not using?

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
How high your KD is doesn't represent how good of a player you are really, as most just camp for high KD's. I'd put a high Win/Loss ratio over KD tbh.
Been playing Hardcore TDM and doing well most games, the Type 25 with a Quickdraw Handle, Target Finder and Suppressor is owning hard.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
And anyone can get high win/loss ratio if they play in a full party the whole time. I know that first hand, I use to always play in full parties. Now however, I often play solo and only occasionally play with other people (and when I do it's usually only 1-3 people). Playing by yourself and holding good stats shows much more imo.
Never been a fan of Hardcore personally. Not having a radar and getting killed by one bullet by seemingly anything doesn't appeal to me at all.

Snipers really need to be nerfed

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
Yeah you can still quick scope and all that jazz. The snipers don't have any recoil either, it's piss easy.
I played the game for a good 8+ hours yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Sure it has its flaws and some things are being used/spammed way more than others like the shock charge and the bouncing betty's, but every COD has somewhat of a rough start and things that annoy people in general anyway. The gameplay is much better than MW3's.
Also the Nuketown map is shit, don't bother.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
The maps are more balanced, Treyarch always own IW in that regard, but I find the gameplay below that of MW3. New zombies maps (incuding a modern Kino) and Hardcore Dom, KC and Demolition should be added next.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion
After being spending most of my time on Xbox playing COD up until BO1 came out and then not playing anymore except for a game at someone's house, I like this one much better than MW3 and BO1.
Only complaint is there is sooooo many spots to chill behind cover with just your head popping out.
