Cam...paign?

What's that?

Multi is dope. I just loathe using these shitty guns at first. Fucking Mp7 blows.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

COD = Children's Online Daycare. $60 for a generic copy and paste shooter with a complete lack of innovation, a multiplayer geared towards 12 year olds and a 5 hour story. I don't understand why people continue to buy into the hype, these game have been shit since COD 4.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

I'm trying to decide if I should buy this.

COD 4 and WaW I played and loved. MW2 was pretty fun. Then COD got insanely popular and that's when every lobby got filled with 9 year olds. I wouldn't mind the game if it wasn't filled with pricks.

For BO2 and MW3, I told myself I wasn't going to buy it, but all my friends played it so I bought them both, got bored fast, and it kind of sat on my shelf.

I'll have to see peoples opinions after the hype dies down.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Got the game today and I've played about an hour of it so far - and it's alright. I went into it with no expectations after the atrocity that was MW3, but I'm finding it Ok. Nothing amazing so far, but maybe it's just my passion for COD is dying each year.. The games are always fun the first few days though, with so many noobs running around, but I hope the game is still fun in a few weeks/months time. I gave up on MW3 after a month, but I played Black Ops for months and months, but tbh, this feels more like MW3 than Black Ops so far and that's not really a good thing imo.

It's still far too early to compare the multiplayer to previous COD's. Play it to the point where you've unlocked nearly everything (guns, perks, attachments, killstreaks etc) and got used to all the maps - and then you can properly judge the game and make a fair comparison to previous titles. Just my opinion.

I miss the COD4 maps, you could actually snipe properly.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

Liking the new class set ups , much more freedom then previous cods. This one seems to be aimed at more run and gun style of play. Also glad they have seemed to balance out the OP stealth perks as well.

Played the campaign for about 2/3 missions , its cool and Woods is a fun dynamic to the story. You can actually pick your load outs for the missions which will probably make a second play through on a harder difficulty a bit easier. Fuckin Treyarch and dem GRENADES .

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

10hrs of gameplay logged so far and I can confidently say the multiplayer fuck sucks. Spawns are almost, if not equally, as bad as they were in the beginning of MW3, the guns are terribly weak, it's impossible to win a close quarters gunfight, takes have a mag to kill someone, etc. The maps, while colorful, provide NO safe havens at all. You're never safe, ever. Forces you to panic and move when you don't have to. There's 1001 ways in and out of everything and snipers are dominating everything. Looks so great on the surface, but the gameplay is horrid.

I am disappoint.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Discussion

The spawn system does suck. I spawned right behind an enemy. Awesome easy kill.

And the hit detection is kinda shit.

I don't mind the maps. I prefer being forced to move around than just sitting there, and camping along. And I disagree with the weakened guns. I've got plenty of double kills, and a few triple kills with the mp7. the starter gun in the submachine class. theyre not that weak.

but yeah, the multiplayer has a bit of issues. i trust treyarch to fix them, however.
